Is Callmora free?
Yes to start. Local mode transcribes and summarizes entirely on your Mac at no cost and with no account. Cloud mode uses your own API keys, so you pay those providers directly — nothing runs through us.
Do my recordings leave my Mac?
In local mode, never. In cloud mode, audio goes to AssemblyAI and the transcript to your chosen AI provider using your own keys. Callmora has no server, no account, and no telemetry.
Which calls does it work with?
Any audio playing on your Mac — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, a browser tab, a phone bridge — captured together with your microphone.
Do I need API keys?
Only for cloud mode. Local mode needs nothing. For cloud, add your own AssemblyAI key plus an AI provider key (OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude) — kept in your Mac's Keychain. The docs show where to get each one.
What languages does it support?
Dozens, including calls that mix languages. Teach it custom vocabulary so names, products, and jargon are transcribed correctly.
