Licensing & trial
Callmora costs $99 once. No subscription, no seats, no per-minute fees. Try it free for 14 days first, with every feature unlocked — then buy a license from inside the app if you want to keep using it.
The 14-day trial
The trial starts the moment you install Callmora and runs for 14 days. It needs no card and no account — there's nothing to sign up for and nothing that auto-charges when it ends. Every feature works during the trial: local and cloud transcription, speaker separation, AI summaries and chat, dictation, Calendar Join & Record, and iCloud sync. It's the same build you'd be buying, so there's nothing crippled to unlock later.
A toolbar pill shows how many trial days are left, and turns urgent in the last three days. Tapping it opens the license screen.
Buying a license
When you're ready, buy from inside the app or at callmora.app/pricing. Payment, receipts, and tax are handled by Lemon Squeezy, Callmora's merchant of record — your card details never touch Callmora. You'll get a license key by email right after you pay.
The $99 is a one-time purchase that includes lifetime updates. There's no renewal, and no feature is ever moved behind a later, separate charge.
Activating a key
Open Callmora and go to Settings → About. Paste your key into the license field and click Activate. If the key is valid, the license takes effect immediately — no relaunch needed.
A rejected key tells you why, rather than a flat "invalid": a typo reads differently from a key that's already active on every Mac it allows, and the message matches. If activation keeps failing, see Troubleshooting.
How many Macs
One license activates on up to 2 Macs at a time — say, a laptop and a desktop. Once activated, Settings → About shows a device count (for example "1 of 2 devices") next to your license, plus a License ID. The ID isn't a secret; it exists so support can look your license up by that number, since a purchase can't be found from the key string alone.
Moving to a new Mac
If both slots are already taken and you want to activate a third Mac, free one first:
- On the Mac you're retiring, open Settings → About and click Deactivate This Mac….
- Confirm. The slot is released immediately — your calls and notes stay on that Mac, and it simply falls back to its trial (by then usually expired, so recording and AI features pause there until it's activated again).
- Activate the same key on the new Mac. Nothing to buy again.
Lost the old Mac
Sold, wiped, or dead, and you never got a chance to deactivate it? Two ways to get the slot back:
- Look up your purchase at Lemon Squeezy's My Orders portal — enter the email you bought with and manage your license from there.
- Or email support@callmora.app and quote the License ID from Settings → About on any Mac that's still activated (it's also on your Lemon Squeezy receipt). We'll free the slot for you.

Working offline, and when a key can't be re-verified
Callmora checks your license with the server now and then, but it doesn't need to be online to keep working. An already-active license keeps running offline for up to 30 days since its last successful check — plenty for travel or a patchy connection. Nothing is asked of you during that window; recording and AI features work exactly as if you were online.
If 30 days pass with no successful check, Settings → About shows "License not verified" instead of "Licensed," and recording and AI features pause on that Mac until it reconnects. This isn't a re-purchase or a new key — the moment Callmora reaches the license server again, everything comes back on its own. The Mac still holds its device slot the whole time, and Deactivate This Mac… stays available if you need to hand that slot to another machine before reconnecting.
If the trial ends and you don't buy
Nothing you've recorded is at risk. New recordings and dictation pause, but every transcript, note, and summary you already made stays on the Mac, fully readable and exportable as text — see Import & export. Buying later unlocks new recordings again; it doesn't touch what's already there.
Refunds
Callmora doesn't do refunds — the 14-day trial is the evaluation period, with every feature unlocked, so there's nothing left to find out once you decide to buy. If something is genuinely broken, or your key won't activate, email support@callmora.app first — most of that is fixable without a refund. Full policy: Refunds.
